Inspiration
During my travels in Vietnam, the quartet of hot, sour, salty and sweet defined the regional flavors of the country. My morning often started with a bowl of Pho, and although it was different in presentation and profile from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, the balance of the flavors were present across regions.
